ABS ASGS ABS Structures

This dataset contains ABS Structures of the Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) from the Australian Bureau of Statistics. The ASGS is a classification of Australia into a hierarchy of statistical areas. The ABS Structures provided by AusEnHealth are the Main Structure levels, Statistical Area Level 1 (SA1), Statistical Area Level 2 (SA2), Statistical Area Level 3 (SA3), Statistical Area Level 4 (SA4) and State and Territory (STE), and the Greater Capital City Statistical Areas (GCCSA). Boundaries are GeoParquet files, hive partitioned by region_type and edition (the boundary code set). Each file carries a region column holding the ABS boundary code, which joins to the region column of the AusEnHealth indicator tables of the same region_type and edition, alongside the original ABS attribute columns. Region types are sa1, sa2, sa3, sa4, gcc and ste, and editions are ASGS editions such as asgs2021.
